Free Standing Capstan
Free Standing Capstans are designed and manufactured for safe and efficient handling of vessels. By preventing the heavy lifting of mooring lines, capstans greatly reduce handling time for mooring linesmen.
Capstans are typically an integral part of the complete QRH package manufactured and supplied by Glen. Available in standard versions with a nominal pull from 1 ton to 3 tons, Glen capstans can also be supplied as separately freestanding units or add-on units.
