3000 Fatigue Tests for Quick Release Hook

In order to verify and improve the performance of quick release hooks, GLEN has carried out nearly 3000 fatigue tests on hooks.

Large amount of test data collected during 3 months of fatigue testing. Hook damage data under extreme load conditions was updated. We started to optimise and improve the quick release hooks according to the test data, including hook material, swivel block material, tumble piece dimension, shock absorber design, structure anti-corrosion and structure lubrication.

We believe that our quick release hooks are able to provide better performance and efficiency for safe port operations.
